This lovely, intimate wedding comes to us from Laura Lee Photography, based in Warwick, New York! Here’s Laura to tell us more:
Janine and Christian Kroer met online when Christian moved to the United States from Denmark to get his Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon. Their focus for the day was not about the details, which you can clearly tell by their intimate ceremony in the woods, but about incorporating their story through personal vows and immersing themselves in the love of their friends and family.
See more after the cut!
Janine and Christian chose to forgo tradition and got ready together in their sweet little cabin, and also walked down the aisle together into the ceremony – beginning their marriage already as one. They wed on April 17th alongside the river that runs down from the Catskills looming above and they spoke the sweetest vows I’ve ever heard, quoting Shakespeare and stating all the personal things they enjoy together, like math, literature and the theater.
“My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite.” ― William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
