Vineyard Wedding on the Peninsula of Michigan

This colorful, sun-filled rustic wedding comes to us from Melissa Lande of Lux Light Photography, based in Traverse City, Michigan! Here’s Melissa to tell us more:

Their ceremony took place on the Old Mission Peninsula at the Mission Table, an famous winery more modernly known for it’s delicious wine and views of Lake Michigan. Historically, the building has been featured on the popular show “Unsolved Mysteries” for it’s infamous story of Genevieve and her haunting of the residents at the Inn!

Despite it’s resident ghost, the day was filled with rustic elegant decor and exuberant faces, as the guests enjoyed their local wine and desserts from Traverse City’s amazing vendors. Nikki and Tyler’s personalities and talent contrasting nicely with the rustic crumbling brick and quaint gardens, where their guests could meander during their cocktail hour.

The most unique part of the day actually occurred during the ceremony, where the bride and groom had 2 bottles of their favorite wine (1 red and 1 white) and poured their selected wine into one glass to share their first sip as husband and wife!

Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you Melissa for sharing! For more information about Lux Light Photography, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to their website.
