Today’s gorgeous real wedding, is brought to us Rozenn Hamoniau of rozimages, based in Mondavezan, France. We just love all of the personal details, from the maternity photos to the unique ceremony. Here’s Rozenn to tell us more:
Kathleen and Michael came to elope in Broome for a discreet and intimate ceremony. They wanted to be in a beautiful and peaceful place to celebrate their love, in a simple way. Broome was the perfect place for them. Kathleen was also celebrating her pregnancy and I took some maternity photos while she was getting ready for the ceremony. Her baby bump looked particularly beautiful in her wedding dress.
See more after the cut!
Kathleen’s dad was the only guest and all wedding plans actually remained hidden from him until he arrived at the location. What a lovely surprise it was for him! Still startled, he proudly walked his daughter to the ceremony altar. The ceremony was held under a pretty little gazebo at Cable Beach Resort. Kathleen and Michael didn’t want formal rings and decided to literraly tie the knot, with pieces of strings replacing the wedding rings.
The ceremony was followed by an escape on the beach with the newly married couple wearing flip flops (or ‘thongs’ as they call them in Australia)! The light on the beach was stunning that day. At this time of the year, controlled burns of land are common in this region of Australia. This produces a lot of smoke in the sky miles around, creating warm and pastel tints at sunset.
Congratulations Kathleen & Michael and thank you Rozenn for sharing! For more information about rozimages, please visit her WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to her website.
